An Art Post!  
While procrastinating getting my degree stuff done (I'm on a scheme where you start your degree early. It's meant for gifted and talented people, but I think it must actually be designed for morons, because who in their right minds would want to do extra work + the absolute hell of A-Levels?) I decided to do a quick sketch. It was inspired by a little discussion on a friending meme with [info]rain_dances and [info]bubbles83 about the lack of femslash in the SPN fandom, so this is dedicated to them.

( Warnings; Teeny amounts of nudity ( it's just shirts and knickers). Kinda but not really femslash. )

Results Day!  
Firstly, just to say I'm back safely from my trip. The entire thing was amazing, and probably one of the best months of my life. I broke my camera though, so I'm waiting till some of my friends upload theres, and then I'll post them.

But back to the present, today was my (eep!) GCSE results day. I was really proud of how I did, and I've got my place in the 6th form of my choice, so I'm happy :D My results were:

English Literature : A*
English Language : A*
History : A*
Biology : A
Chemistry :A
Physics : A (considering I spent the entire year playing Pokemon on my gameboy or reading Twilight in these lessons, this result was pretty surprising. Think I caught up marks in the Medical Science though, courtesy of numerous House MD marathons! :p)
Religious Studies : A
Business Communications Studies: A
Drama: A
Spanish : B

Greetings from Anatanarivo!  
Heya all! As the title suggests, I'm blogging today from Anatanarivo, the capital city of Madagascar! I'm having a lovley time, as Tana is an amazing place, chocked full of culture and amazing views. Also, the people are lovley, and everyone greets you as you go past.  A lot of them have never even seen a white person before though, so some just stare in amazement, and try to tell if you're real or not!

Tomorrow I leave the city for one of the national parks whose name I can't spell, but I do know that it's one of the biggest lemur reserves in the world, and that the lemurs aren't scared of humans, so they jump on your shoulders and try to steal your food! Theres also lots of birds, lizards, and apparently black widows, though I luckily haven't seen one yet!

I hope everything is going OK back in civilisation. Please send me  TV spoilers ( I need my fix!) and tell me what happend in the X-Files movie!

See you!  

Heya guys! There'll be no posting from me for the next month, as I'm gonna be in, would you believe it, Madagascar, hiking and doing charity work. I don't think I've ever gone more than a month without my beloved laptop, so this'll be tricky, but hopefully it'll be fun! Wish me luck! I'll miss you guys! And update me on all the spoilers when I come back!

[info]tinkwings17_817  just posted this book meme on her journal, and I thought I'd have a go. Basically, The Big read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books on the list. Colour the ones you've read in bold, ones you intend to read in italics, ones you enjoyed with an underline and one's you disliked with a strikethrough. Nice and easy!

FRINGE - Review 1x01 (EEEP!)  
So, I head over to my favourite TV streaming website to go watch X-Files (I'm attempting to re-watch every episode before the movie comes out) and guess what I saw on the main page. FRINGE! The pilot episode had been leaked, so I sped as quickly as I could to download and watch it. And for the record - it was awesome.

Oh, and for those who don't know what the hell I'm rambling on about. Fringe is JJ Abram's (the creator of LOST) new show, which is about Fringe science, like telekinesis, mind reading, teleportation etc. Its due to come out in September.

What follows is a rambling, fangirly review of it's awesomeness. And HUMOUNGOUS spoilers, obviously.

New Puppy & Holiday pics  
Heya! Normally, I avoid RL posts. My life is generally boring, and Fandom > RL. Iz trufax. But as you can probably see from the header, it's been vaguely interesting this month, and my new puppy is too adorable to not have pictures of herself spammed on the internet.



Oh, and would someone mind telling me if my layout is level on their computer? It works fine on mine, but apparently it's dodgy on others. Any help on how to fix it is greatly welcome too.

This was a kind of challenge for myself, as I made a Huddy fanmix, and decided it was much to angsty for even my taste. So I tried to make one that was more upbeat and fun. AN; I only ever meant for this to be a one shot, but a couple of people were asking for another chapter, and as we have no more A2A for a whole year, I figured "Hell, why not?". The ratings been upped for the reasons in the warnings section.

House / Cuddy Manipulation  

So, after seeing the total awesomeness and utter win of this Gene/Alex scan over at

[info]a2ashes  I desperatley had to make a Huddy manip of it, cos dominating Cuddy is quite simply totally combustible hotness. The manip it's self ain't brilliant, Cuddy came out OK, but House looks odd cos I couldn't find a decent expression for him, and cos Gene is waaay more filled out than House. But I was pretty proud of it, since this is only my second manip. Heres the original, 800x600 size, and the blown up wallpaper, which is 1024x 768. Do comment if you take/like, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside :)

Warnings: References to drug abuse, alcohol abuse, suicide and sex, contains lots of swearing and large dollopings of angsty goodness. (God, I love my OTP :P ) Also, a few are in m4a format, sorry!
Notes: Inspired by Aimee Mann's "It's Not", though in the end I didn't include it cos it didn't fit the feeling. But the title still includes lyrics from the song :) This mix is in two parts, the first about their addictive sexual relationship in season 6, and the second about the almost relationship in season 7. Zip file and individual tracks included.
